Patriot poem

Fought in the battle of monmouth june,1778

she carryed pitchers of water to solders

helped load canons sometimes

patriot they say

Mary Hays

wached husband callapse

often went by molly Pitcher

as she washed cloths for canon loaders

she never let anything get her down in life
